He is clearly passionate about helping people and provides a calming and relaxing experience in sessions.”

Dr. L. Otway, Exeter

Just to let you know everything is going great. I have booked our summer holiday to Majorca and I'm really looking forward to it. The hypnotherapy has worked incredibly well and feel no fear at all.

Chris, Swindon

Hi Robin. We had our scan yesterday. Baby is great. Blood test after was perfect! I couldn't have wished for anything more and I am shocked at the difference. I didn't make a sound, my heart wasn't racing, I wasn't uncontrollably sweating and shaking. I just looked away, took deep breaths and it was done! Unbelievable! Thank you so so much for everything. Sounds over the top but honestly, that for me is life changing. Thank you.

Becci, Bristol

What is PTSD?

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is an anxiety disorder caused by experiencing or witnessing very stressful, scary or distressing events.

What are the symptoms of PTSD?

Symptoms of PTSD normally appear in the first month after the traumatic event, but in some cases there can be a delay of months, or even years, before they develop.

Some people with PTSD have long times with less symptoms followed by times where they are more intense, while others experience more constant severe symptoms.

With PTSD you can experience any of the symptoms listed here:

Physical symptoms

  • faster/irregular/noticeable heartbeat

  • headaches

  • feeling lightheaded and dizzy

  • chest pains

  • loss of appetite

  • sweating

  • breathlessness

  • feeling hot

  • shaking

  • fatigue & tiredness

  • muscle tension

How can I cope with PTSD?

  • Talking about your feelings to a friend, family member, or the Samaritans by calling 116 123 / emailing:

  • Exercise – activities such as running, walking, swimming and yoga can help you relax

  • Calming breathing exercises

  • A healthy diet with regular meals to keep your energy levels stable

  • Support groups like:

Combat Stress – a military charity helping ex-servicemen and women

Rape Crisis – a UK charity providing services for women and girls who have experienced abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault

Victim Support – a charity providing support and information to victims or witnesses of crime in England & Wales

CRUSE – a UK charity providing support and information to people who have lost loved ones

How long does it last?

Untreated it can potentially the rest for the rest of your life.

Can I remove it?

Yes, with treatment symptoms can be removed in as little as 1 session!

What is the best treatment for PTSD?

There are a number of PTSD treatments available, including:

  • Medical - see your GP for advice

  • CBT - a therapist helps you to change your thoughts about a trauma to feel better (you may need to describe the trauma in detail)

  • EMDR - "Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing" (EMDR) uses movements of the eye to help the brain help you feel better

  • Rewind Therapy - removes PTSD quickly without having to give any details of the trauma at all!

How many sessions would I need?

Typically 1-3 sessions needed, and weekly is fine. You can do it on consecutive days if you like!

Which traumas can it help with?

  • Simple phobias

  • Psychological bullying

  • Physical and sexual assaults (including rape and sexual abuse)

  • Car accidents

  • Muggings

  • Witnessing of critical incidents

  • Being trapped in confined places

  • War experiences

  • Natural disasters

  • Any other traumatic experience

Benefits of Rewind Therapy:

  • Safe

  • Fast

  • Painless

  • Highly effective

  • You don't need to say what happened!

How effective is it?

In one case study of 30 people with various trumas from the list above, medication & counselling hadn't resolved the issues (in some cases counselling had made them worse), and after they all tried the rewind technique:

93% rated it as "extremely successful" or "successful",

7%   rated it as "acceptable"

0%   rated it as "poor" or "a failure"

They were also asked to score their wellbeing before, 7-10 days after and 3-6 months after their rewind, and gave the following averages:

Prior to rewind:        12 / 50

7-10 days after:     30.3 / 50

3-6 months after:  32.2 / 50

This represents an average improvement of 168.3% (ie. 2½ times better) from their original wellbeing ratings.

"The most commonly mentioned effects that the rewind technique can have are:

  • increased confidence

  • no more flashbacks

  • more positive mood

  • ability to speak about the trauma without triggering alarm or difficulty

  • no more fear

The fact that the treatment was quick, easy and painless was commented on by very many and most said they would recommend the method to others"

Reframe session

If you have a specific goal in mind for after your PTSD or Trauma removal, eg. using transport or going to a place, then we can do an additional "Reframe" session to show your subconscious how to feel in that situation next time & giving it  positive expectations.

Reframing is optional & depending on your goal it may not be necessary, so you can discuss this with your assigned Medical Practitoner if this feels relevant to you.
